Having first begun his career in the legal sector, Dimitry saw extensive opportunities in the logistics field. With a sophisticated understanding of maritime law, he decided to open his own business.
Since then, he has seen extensive success and is a recognized industry leader. As a federally licensed non-vessel carrier (NVOCC), the company specializes in the exportation of automobiles, boats, and heavy machinery and transports them internationally from the United States. In a recent online interview, Dimitry provides insight into his role as CEO while defining his way of doing business.

Dimitry Alper is the Founder and CEO of the Prestige Shipping Group - an international logistics company that exports more than 500,000 automobiles and boats annually from the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in business and communications from Baruch College and completed a litigation internship at the law firm of Levine & Blit following graduation. He eventually went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law in 2009.
In his current position, he oversees warehouse operations and secures the necessary trade routes for their clients abroad. He hopes to leverage his extensive industry experience towards the expansion of Prestige Shipping Group's international presence and looks forward to the company's future growth.
