Eterna has created a unique exchange model, which is a hybrid of CEX and DEX, by combining a centralized order book with a decentralized Automated Market Maker (AMM). A buy or sell order on Eterna can thus be fulfilled internally on its order book or through an AMM aggregator, which executes transactions through external Defi platforms, such as Pancakeswap and Uniswap. This combination between the transparency of CEX trading and the security and anonymity of DEX trading represents a new idea in the crypto space.
EHX, the native token for Eterna Hybrid exchange can be purchased on the Ethereum network and the Binance Smart Chain. Both tokens are connected via the Eterna bridge, which allows users to engage in cross-chain arbitrage and portfolio rebalancing.

Eterna, by contrast, launched on March 17, 2022 on the big screen of Dubai Crypto Expo with an already functioning centralized exchange, as well as a staking platform, and a cross-chain bridge connecting EHX trading on Ethereum and the Binance Smart Chain.
Version 2 will see the release of an advanced Binance-cloud enabled order book exchange, as well as Eterna's proprietary AMM-aggregator, that will connect Eterna's centralized order book with Pancakeswap and Uniswap. Version 3 will then scale the AMM-aggregator to other chains, including AVAX, MATIC, and ADA.
Eterna also has its own token incubator, where anyone can launch a token for the cost of KYC, and plans to build a launchpad, as well as its own hybrid blockchain, that will combine the best features of private and public networks. Eterna will thus set a new standard for hybrid exchanges, that will surely be emulated by others in the coming years, as centralized and decentralized finance merge into a rapidly expanding global market.
