Mergers and Acquisitions
NORFOLK, VA / ACCESSWIRE / December 1, 2020 / Virginia based Sqwire LLC announced the acquisition of Wealthology, a company focused on financial literacy training, on Tuesday. The companies have joined forces in effort to take a nationwide push for financial wellness to the next level. As a part of the merger, Wealthology founder and operator Casey Halliley has joined Sqwire as the Vice President of Financial Education.

"To bring someone as highly distinguished and respected as Casey who shares our passion for helping and educating others, is a big step as we continue to change the game in financial wellness," said Sqwire Founder and CEO Danijel Velicki. "We've been working towards the same mission of making sure people can make confident, informed decisions when it comes to money. Joining forces leverages the experience and knowledge everyone brings to the table. This will help us to provide what is drastically needed in this country right now; the best possible financial wellness program."
Halliley spent the first 15 years of her career working on the trading floors at Citibank and Barclays Bank PLC where she traded currencies for a few years before spending the bulk of her career in Structured Credit Products. Casey has her Masters in Public Finance from NYU, graduated from the Citigroup Global Capital Markets training program and has traded hundreds of billions of dollars of financial assets during the course of her career. During her time on the trading floors and in training, Casey realized that she never received even an hour of education on her own personal finances. Her mission became, and still is, to provide outstanding financial literacy training to students and professionals so that they can grow their wealth and live the lives they want and deserve to live.
"After five years of training students at Universities such as Yale and Columbia and professionals at companies like Capital One, Barclays, and many others, we are delighted to be welcomed into Sqwire's team to continue working towards our goal of providing outstanding financial literacy training to students and professionals. The gap in people's knowledge when it comes to financial wellness is vast, and we are thrilled to be partnering up with a team of people who share our deep passion for doing our part in correcting it.", said Casey Halliley.
